Autumn Looks

Tweed shift dressThere is no other colour that screams Autumn than the olive green or khaki, whichever you call it that same colour that makes up the utilitarian look. It is a huge colour for Fall probably because it emphasizes the warm rich hues that we associate with that time of year and the colours that change in nature. So in my ode to Autumn, I wore one eyelet dark green shoes paired with two different outfits that both have an Autumn-y feel.

What to wear in Autumn
This season also is the time for layering. The fact that it's cooler on the early morning and gets warmer in the middle of the day it calls for that extra layer that can be taken off when you need to. I wore this tweed shift dress with eyelets that is perfectly matched with a long grey vest.

And how cool is this Karl Lagerfeld bag charm that hangs happily in my Givenchy Antigona bag.

Utilitarian look
My second outfit was this army green tunic dress that I scored from Forever 21. The fabric is so light that it can conceal the bra straps easily, hence, I opted to wear a singlet or cami to give extra layer inside. The slightest of sweat can be seen and if you perspire easily like me this colour is only great for cooler days which exactly what Autumn is.

Eyelet embellishment is a big thing recently and I was ecstatic to unearth these shoes from my unworn piles of footwear. Hey, it felt like shopping from my own shoe-drobe :)

So these are the remaining flowers we had in summer and I'm still enjoying them including this lush and green surrounding that I know will turn into brown soon.

  29. I got lost for a moment wondering if this one's a late post or not. And then, I suddenly remembered that the sequence of seasons in Australia is far different from the other side of the world. :) Haha, anyway, these colors are definitely something I usually wear. Love both outfits, though the first one looks more sophisticated ♥ Btw, if you're looking for a site to shop online, you may check out these links: https://goo.gl/glwHDg AND http://3rdshop.com?rfsn=543534.5f0016 Hope to hear from you soon! x
